If i'm out n' about driving or on an extended dinner hour :unibrow: :)

I often get to listen to the great Roger Phillips phone-in and sometimes catch Billy Butler afterwards.

He's got a phone-in quiz type thing going called Dingbats.

From a clue, you have to work out the answer.

First one 'X Mascara'

Second one 'Preist'

Third one 'Gsge'

Let's see how you do with these.

Chris. They are 3 seperate phrases. I'll give you the first one so you know what we're talking about.

X Mascara = Kiss and make up. Get it :o)

Now, over to you.

I sometimes ring in but as i'm driving and need to use both hands on the wheel, I use my Dictophone :)

I'm guessing he was using one of these

Mr. Butler's show can be listened to online, btw. Radio Merseyside is usually in good quality via the BBC website.

Roger Philips is a brilliant phone in host and comes across as very professional.

The phone-in tomorrow is from the Prison.

Can't believe today though that he didn't know the bus shelters were glass. I've often thought (like the caller) why the council persist on replacing the vandal smashed glass with more glass.

I Can shed some light there Ged. I was speaking to one of the operatives who was replacing a advert on one of the shelters, which was not just smashed to smithereens but had all the electric wires pulled out. He brushed all the glass into a pile waiting for there refuse people to collect it. I asked him why the bus company persist on replacing glass with glass. He told me the Council insist on using glass as its 'nicer', forgetting the fact that when its smashed to bits, it is'nt very nice at all. Apparently if a shelter gets smashed twice, they then tell the council who will then grant permission to use perspex.

I asked him the cost must be astronomical, but he said the money the company gets from adverts covers more than the cost for the shelter. So why the ticket rises
