Recently, there have been more and more photographs being posted on the YO! LIVERPOOL forum, mainly relating to Liverpool's buildings of the past.

Almost without exception, all of these photographs are of great interest to me, and the photographers should be extremely proud of them.

I am currently doing what others who visit this website have done, by extensively photographing our city as well as some parts of the Wirral.

Anyway, I'd like to recommend a website that some of you may be interested in. I know some of you use Flickr, which is fine. But there is a system I find much better.

Fotopic (http://fotopic.net) provides a neat and professional way to share your photographs. You can easily split your large collections into sections that make navigating your website easier.

With Fotopic, you can make use of a memorable web address, relaible service and a neat website... free of charge. Although you will probably decide to opt for the Premium service as I have done and which costs somewhere in the region of £45 per year.

Anyway, this is just a suggestion as I have been very pleased with their service over the last two years.

Visit http://taxipix.fotopic.net to see how it looks.

Please let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

By the way, I am in no way connected to Fotopic, I simply find their service to be very good and find that Fotopic website are easier to manage and navigate than some of the sites on Flickr etc...

Not forgetting that non-pro accounts are free, and you can get a free DeviantArt account too, and a free Google Picassa gallery too.
