Hiya Gerard, a bit late replying. Been working on a couple of websites today.
Cracking welted brogues there mate and those Loakes look pretty close to Comos. If your love your shoes have a shufty at the Brooks Brothers (http://www.brooksbrothers.com/) website. When the £ was almost $2.50 in the early 80s, a load of us used to get cheap flights to NY and buy our shoes and button downs from there. This was before kids of course. I'm more of a Poundstretchers Man nowadays:disgust:
Off to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

They are steel toe capped too and when it snowed and I got off the bus, a scally went to aim a snowball at me or the driver - I never got to found out seeing as I 'accidently' stepped on his foot hard when getting off the bus and he dropped the snowball.

We've got a Ruby too .. :) :)
That name is fairly uncommon for dogs I think. We called our dog Ruby because we got her on red nose day and she was wearing a red collar. Ruby Red. :)
Ruby wearing school tie.
