As much as I love seeing all the pictures of the city centre regeneration and want them to continue, I would like to see more images of regeneration outside the CC. There are alot of projects underway in places like kensington, the boot estate(Ellergreen) and Croxteth, plus many more. It is important not to forget that our regeneration, unlike alot of places, also includes the suburbs of the city, not just the places where the tourists go.:)

Point taken, but why not take photos and post them?

I don't like taking pics of developments, once there finished I prefer taking pics of finished buildings.

Theres some accommodation being built In Wavertree but thats It around here.

I never thought I was being brave when I went all round Liverpool taking photos of all the cinemas, and other things that caught my eye.
Visit either of the two sites below, because I still travel all round.

I reckon you felt really brave PhilipG...

As long as the camera isn't moving, why is a tripod indispensable?
I wouldn't feel safe messing with one on Park Road!

But the point I'm trying to make is I like to take photos as quickly and unobtrusively as possible, especially when I'm on my own in a dark street.

My safety is more important than a good shot.

Using a tripod at night, when alone in a dark street doesn't seem a wise move to me.
Even taking photos in daylight leaves oneself open to muggers.
I know because I've been to all the sites in Liverpool (over 100) that used to have cinemas & have snapped them all.

Have you been saving all those quotes for you to retrieve them so quickly?
How petty! :disgust:
If you read those posts correctly, they all referred to me not wanting to carry a tripod around with me.
There are lots of photos around to prove that I've been to everywhere in Liverpool.

I read your posts above, and I was referring to your modest claim about not being brave. I just remembered that when you were making excuses for not using a tripod, you'd talked about the risks.

BTW, did you really think I was scared to take pictures outside of the city centre?!

Those Tripods can be a great defensive weapon to fight with If I need to though and It shouldn't break too!:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

The old one I had, was more metal though!

There are some threads if u search around, maybe if u want pics of Boot estate, nogsy etc.. someone who has knowledge and experience in those areas might be able to get the pics. I for one won't be in a hurry to get 'em, sozz.

No mate, I wouldn't know where to begin up that end of the city dude. Maybe Yo! members could begin to capture images of the developments up that end :) . I'm sticking to Garston etc...

This oller on Vauxhall road is being cleared for more housing and apartments. It's at the bottom of Ashfield street where in the 90s stood a petrol station.
