I remember when I was a child getting the oportunity to go on holiday with my cousins to thier caravan in Caergwhlly (spelling?), North Wales. Having never been on holiday before I was so excited that I couldn't sleep for weeks before the big event. I don't remember to much about the holiday only that it rained a lot and I loved the noise of the rain on the caravan roof. I still like to visit North Wales but it's not my favourite destination.

I have noticed over the years that many of my Scouse friends and relatives have enjoyed holidaying in places like Benidorm, Mallaga, Corfu, Malta, Cypress, Lanzarote, Kusadasis and now The Maldives, Seychelles, Goa etc. I know we all have favourites so what's your favourite vacation destination?

My favorite place to visit is Liverpool, I wouldn't want to go back to live in the U.K. though. :037:

Too many scousers go to Wales or Spain.

Benidorm's probably full of crusty Brits.:PDT_Xtremez_12:

Well I don't go abroad much only ever been 3 times.

I've been to Denmark, France (twice) and through Germany to get to Denmark.

So I'll say France.

Well I don't go abroad much only ever been 3 times. Most people are loathe to leave their own shores. One of my sisters has not travelled more than a 100 mile radius of Liverpool. When asked why she doesn't travel her answer is; "I have everything I need here and I can see other places on TV so why would I want to go somewhere else"? The last time she left Liverpool was for her daughters wedding in Lancaster about twelve years ago. I am the opposite, a total wonderlust.
