Dear All

I am now in the process of looking for actors for a play that I have written entitled ‘The boy
who dropped an egg on the world’ to be performed later this year.

Here’s a taster:

“A café in the desert on the eve of a Western invasion into the heart of the Middle East. A
massive sandstorm approaches. The café-goers prepare for the worst…then an American visitor
comes through the door….no one is as they seem, the Devil, the Wrath of God, a future Prophet,
Specters of the Past, a couple of foolish intellectuals come and go in disguised form. Told in
myth, realism, horror and humour, the battle between good and evil is played out against a
supernatural and apocalyptic background”.

If this is of interest to you I’m looking for the following –

Four actors for four male characters,
One actor for a boy which could be played either by a male or a female

I have already cast the lead woman.

Non-actors welcome to audition.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, 17th February, at 2.00pm, at St. Brides Church, Catharine
Street, near the junction with Upper Parliament Street, and 10 mins from the City Centre on the
86 bus route.

It would be useful if you could let me know if you are interested in auditioning either by
replying to this email or by phoning/texting 07913 449 396. If you wish to contact me for any
further details, please feel free to do so.

Finally I would be grateful if you could forward this email to any contacts you have who may
be interested in auditioning

Best wishes

Julian Bond
