I was very lucky, when I was 17 the Suez canal crisis was on and they suspended driving tests because fuel was rationed, they allowed anyone who had a provisional license already to drive alone. so I got lots of practice for my test which I passed when I was 17 and 8 months old. I was very lucky with that too, I worked for the Ford main dealer and they loaned me a brand new Demo car, a ford 100E Anglia, I am sure that and the fact that the examiners were snowed under with tests helped me pass first time. :037:
shytalk 02-04-2007, 04:46 AM Was just thinking, you youngsters are probably thinking what the hell is the old fart on about now, Suez wassat? hahaha
