Kev 11-25-2006, 03:39 PM Cheers Ste :PDT_Piratz_26: Libertarian 01-31-2007, 07:30 PM Williamson Square in town could do with a facelift. The shops behind Marksys are a disgrace and it looks really downbeat. The fountain is a major improvement but the buildings let it down. Also I notice that the fountain is rarely on. I can't see the point in spending out on a fountain if it is never switched on. The Big Wheel was good fun over Chrimbo must say I went on it and near S**t meself when I got to the top. There used to be a theatre in Williamson Square which was knocked down to make way for the Marksy's goods entrance. The buildings there now are a let down. (Even if they are an improvement on the walkway in the sky stairs which were put up in the 60's or 70's. Williamson Square has loads of potential but it needs attention. Kev 01-31-2007, 07:33 PM Does it still hold the continental market (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1101&highlight=Williamson+Square) ? I do agree with you though, it is a wasted area. there could be a really vibrant little square going on there. when the new mall gets built though, i fear williamson square will be even more overlooked. Click on any picture folder and this should change to "Copy to CD" You wont get them all on to 1 CD if you are trying to copy them in "Copy all Items to Cd" as 1 CD is too small in storage capacity.
