Last weekend whilst in Home and Bargain I put the autobiography of Shakin Stevens, priced 49p, in the basket. For the life of me I cant think why and havent opened it since. Anyone else ever done something so stupid?

Ain't read it since I bought It a couple of years ago. sweetpatooti 02-01-2007, 08:12 PM When I was having my first baby I bought a book by Miriam Stoppard on Pregnancy. NEVER buy a book on pregnancy - it will frighten the life out of you. She also wrote of how you must feed on demand, carry the baby around in a sling etc etc... Mine cried night and day and didn't stop until he was weaned and on 2 weetabix for brekkie and the weight of him in the sling nearly broke me back. DON'T READ THEM. Women are quite capable of doing pregnancy on their own without the aid of a book! I flung it out:celb (23): lindylou 02-01-2007, 08:16 PM anti-natal classes scared the hell outta' me too !! I remember coming home after the first one and burst into tears ! lol !
