Ok, apart from punching it's lights out which is what I feel like doing now.

Mums cat needs to be snipped in places it isn't going to like. But because it hasn't been snipped he is naughty.
He has at least 7 girlfriends, comes and goes as he pleases... normal big balled cat behaviour.

Recently he has taken to biting people though.
Brendys friend comes over on a Friday evening, cat was sitting chilling with her, she was stroking him... no swishy tale no nothing... the cat then turns and bites her.

Exact same story with me.... he was curled up on my lap whilst I was stroking him then turned and bit me... jumped off my lap and waited by the door to be let out... yes I did smack his ar$e... but now I am thinking, how do I let him know it's wrong.... I feel like locking him out the house to be honest... little swine!

Comments please :PDT_Piratz_26:

Kick up the arse lol.

My cat used to nip and bite when she was younger, but now shes almost 17 she just stinks the place out with her litter tray yuk. Cats play by biting so its probably a sign of affection.

It seems the only answer is to get it neutered.
Like some dogs, it's sometimes the only thing left to do.

Thats it then, I am going to DIY neuter the cat... with a blunt spoon and a spade :D

Cats will bite you anyway when stroking them sometimes, It's a playful bite.

My cat when on the table puts her paw onto me when she wants food.

He will sit on me whilst being stroked then will kneed (sp?) my lap, claws out... they do that with the mothers teat for milk when young... cute, yeh.. painful, yeh.
But this was, what I feel, a ferocious bite... if that is effection I am gonna grow my nails and claw it's eyes out and bite it's ear.... hard!

me, angry...yeh... more wine anyone :celb (23):

It sounds like the "Alpha Male" syndrone.
Too much testosterone.

Both my cats do that and will do it if you stop stroking them.

I think Viccie you should try some psychology on Brennas puddy cat :D

Keep a water sprayer handy, and next time he gets a likkle frisky give him a spray.
