Does anyone know about this book and if it's ever gonna make it to print? Seems to have been in production for like, forever, and I'm dying to read it.
There was a website set up few years back but I can't remember it now.
There was an exhibition about Eric's also a few years back, that I never managed to get to, did anyone here go?
It is coming, unsure of release date

And here it is.
Hi - as soon as the book is out it will be publicised and available from bookshops and mail order from the website: www.loosemusic.org
The book is finished - but am still working on sorting through images and putting them in files with the text and passing them on to the artist who is doing layout for the printer... am doing me best! I worked till 6am this morning...
The layout should be finished by end of Jan, then it has to be proof read, then to the printers (4-6 weeks) so realistically it will be end of Feb beginning of March... and then I get my life back!
Cheers,
Jaki Florek
It will be worth the wait!!

That's excellent news... thanks Paul.
I know it's another wait, but one I think will well be worth it.

One of Erics flyers for forthcoming acts, I still have my black 'erics' T shirt but is seems to have shrunk while in the bottom of my wardrobe:shock:
I must have some flyers maybe dig them out, I still have my membership card.
The Germs were from Kirby, featuring a very young Alan Cunningham, I think he was about 14, who went on to form The Pressgang.
Hot Water had Liverpool links but where from North Wales
Members of Dead Trout became Revolutionary Army of the infant Jesus

Well thats one to add to present my birthday list. I am generally not a hoarder but I have some flyers,my old membership card and a badge. Oh happy days!!
I recall reading that the 2008 itinerary will include a play about Erics. Does anyone here have any involvement in that?

Have a look at this: It also gives the bands that appeared. The Jam played there on 16th July, 1977.

The book is finished, but they've had problems with the man doing the design and layout for the printers which has delayed it massively.
They are now aiming for a launch in Liverpool on Saturday Oct 4th 2008 to coincide with the opening of Eric's in 1976 - though the book may well be available by mail order before then via the websites www.loosemusic.org and www.feedbackmagazine.org

I was there when The Jam played, they were terrible the amps were turned up so loud all you could hear was distortion. They did throw themselves about a bit but the wall of noise was just too much. Somewhere I have a ''In the City' badge that were being given out as we went into the club.
