If I was in a relationship, I definately would be wearing the pants unless bribed or nagged at too much(Female nagging is a mans weakness, so I have an excuse.)

Depends on the circumstance.

If my girlfriend was attacked or anything worse (god forbid), all rationlised thought would go out the window. Its human nature to take a step towards protecting or avengiing a loved one. I would do life if someone done something fatal to my girlfriend. Or cover my tracks very well.

100% agree, they would have to pray the Police found them before I did. There are better thing's to do then just kill a person torture springs to mind.
