As my fave all time band, Liverpool created or not (though there's an obvious sub-conscious biase i'm sure), I have literally dozens of books on them. The most informative I think are the official biography by Hunter Davies, the Rolling stone interview tapes by Jann Wenner on John and for anything regarding rehearsal, recording or tv/radio appearance dates anything by Mark Lewisohn, a mine of info on trivia having met him. One of the funniest though is ex manager Alan Williams book 'The man who gave the Beatles away' recalling their heady days in Liverpool and Hamburg.
