Hi Guys , just thought that I would send a photo of our band from the 70s We were called at the time December, I am the one on the left as you view it !!! No smart remarks please.

We used to play most of the working mens clubs, our agent was Ricky Mccabe I think that photo was taken in the early 70s

I dug it out as I have just had the bad news that our old singer Barry, died last week , Two of us where from Liverpool and the other three where from Widnes

Yes he is the one in the middle, I hadnt seen him for about 35 yrs, it was one of the other lads who informed me about it. It makes one think as you get older, to do the things that you keep putting off. To answer your question Ged, I had been in groups since the late 50s, my biggest gig would have been (a group called The Noctuirns) performing in the Lionel Bart musical Maggie May 1963. If you google my name or the Nocturns and Maggie May there is some info about us, also a link to the old Merseybeat paper, and an article from Dave Elias our old keyboard player.

I was going to say that , thats what we used to call them in those days, yep I did my best to grow them , In fact It was only just after that, that I was able to grow my beared !! It was one of my ambitions from early on in the peace , I was very behind my mates in the beared growing stakes. and now its very grey,and I look like captain pugwash !!

I am hoping that Zapper will post up my latest group photos for you to see Ged, It is one taken on stage in the Adelphi Theatre in the Strand London, I did send them to him but I dont know if they reached him. I will mail John to find out .Cheers Keith.
