He's had a slot on Radio Merseyside from about 3 weeks ago, discussing internet stuff. He emailed me about 3 weeks back to tell me he was going to do a talk on my website. I think it went on air a week ago Thursday. If you're interested, give Radio Merseyside a bell for more info'. I wished I heard it, but our local station down here is poxy Chiltern Radio.

Thanks, Dave. The police station in Lark Lane is where Mrs. Maybrick was confined after her arrest.

Thanks, all. On Tom Slemen's discussion site (http://www.slemen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=51&sid=9c579443ee574f30f899500210c1a330), he states, "On 14 May [1889,] [three days after James Maybrick's death], Florence Maybrick was arrested on suspicion of having poisoned her husband, and she was taken to Lark Lane police station before being escorted to Walton Gaol." Also on Steve Horton's page on the Maybrick case (http://www.geocities.com/stevenhortonuk/jamesmaybrick.html), there is a photograph of the former police station which is now a community centre, along with pics of other sites associated with the case.

The chemist where Florence bought the flypapers from is still there.
It is now an off-licence on the corner of Aigburth Road and Beechwood Road.
