I am running Firefox, my screen saver comes on as and when it wants to, what do I need to do to sort this out?

I tried Firefox once and whatever happened it messed up the computer so I uninstalled it. Everything went haywire with it.

I've been running firefox for about 2 yrs, so has mrs. shytalk. Neither of us has had any problems. I never use screensavers I consider them a waste of memory use, mine goes to blank screen.

I have been using Firefox without any problems, just the screensaver issue is bugging me.

Wouldn't think the problem is to do with Firefox.



Just right click on your desktop and select "properties"
Select the Screen Saver Tab
Choose none as your screensaver

Mike, how do i get it so it comes on, as i have it set to come on but seems to be as and when?

When you are on the Screen Saver Tab, you should see the name of the current screensaver and below that a number of minutes to wait before it comes on.

You can change the number of minutes to whatever delay you want, then if you don't type anything or move your mouse before the delay expires the screensaver should kick in.

Thanks Mike , I have done that, all the thungs you are suppose to do, I just thought there might be something I am missing.
