Go! Liverbirds Website Needs Your Help! Get Liverbird Spotting!

Hi there one and all,

I've recently began developing a new website called: Go! Liverbirds. The idea is to post images of every Liverbird where-ever they may be found. The idea came from the existing Liverbird and Coat of Arms Thread (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?3000-Liverbirds-and-Coat-of-Arms-Pictures) plus the recent Go! Lamb Banana and Go! Penguin initiatives. Locations will be categorised, for example Liverpool North, South, South Central etc.

What I would like from your good selves is for you to sign up and post your images of Liverbirds! Simplez.

Over the next few days, I will be fine tuning it and creating little guides to how to sign up and post pictures.

How To Post

Posting your photographs of Liverpool’s World Famous Liverbirds is easy. Follow the instructions below:
1) On the homepage, click on ‘Register’.

2) 3) and 4) Once you are taken to the ‘Registration Screen’, simply add your email address and chosen username and click on ‘Register’.

….you will receive an email with your login name and password. I will also receive notification of your new account and I will activate it myself. Please allow upto a few hours for this to happen, although it should be sooner!
5) Once you have logged in and I have given you posting rights, click on ‘Posts’.

6) Click on ‘Add New’.

7) http://www.goliverbirds.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif 9) 10 and 11) The fun part! Input all the relevant information. Also click on ‘Browse’ which will allow you to select your Liverbird picture on you computer.

…..*Please Note* When you click on ‘Publish’, your post may return an ‘error’. This happened to me once and I have not been able to replicate it again, you may be lucky! If you do get the error, don’t panic! Your image will be published!
12) That’s it, you are done. You Liverbird will on the front page of Go! Liverbirds for the world to see!

VERY IMPORTANT: Pictures can only be uploaded from your computer, not linked from Flickr etc.

It is important that you click on 'Browse' and upload fro your PC.

If anyone is "clever" enough my old school badge had a liver bird on it !....it was Liverpool Girls College in Grove Street, and the badge was gold it was lovely.

No Mate, unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances or whatever, my server that has Yo! on it was effected by something happening on Go! Liverbirds. That's what has caused the database errors on Yo! in the last few days.

Sorry about that, will try and sort another site for it soon.
