Great! Stormy seas are always good over there. A mate of mine one rode his mountain bike along a sea wall ledge further along when it was like that... how he didn't fall in I'll never know...

I hope someone is able to take pictures, and post them on here, of the storm effect on the Mersey. Goes without saying but I will say it anyway, I also hope they don't endanger themselves in an effort to get the perfect picture.

Wow, can anyone get a good shot of any wind?
Some bendy trees or something.....

I am scared of going out in the wind, always have been.... and when the wind howls up the toilet bowl (no puns please, it really does, you can see the water moving) - that freaks me out a little too.

Thanks folks. Phil, I think it was taken with my Nikon 5700 a couple of years ago. Can't recall the settings, but it was probably with an aperture of f2.8 or something close to that.

My fences wont make it through another heavy one I dont think.
They're already swayin' and movin' about 2 ft either way if you know what I mean.
The whole bleedin' 20 ft section on one side of the garden and the same on the other side.

I tell you whats twisting my melon.. Its been still too wet and windy to carry out repairs on my fences yet. And for the next few days the Met Office is predicting sleet snow and ice.. Sheesh I'll not able to fix me fences till bleedin April if this goes on ..

Preston City Centre was still cordoned off today I found after going there today. Strangely, Sir Thomas Street was back to normal although, it was clear that the Met Quarter will need a bit of repairing!
