Our dog is a Staffordshire bull terrier. She's gorgeous and very much spolied - we got her from the SBT rescue 8 years ago.
I will post some pics of her tomorrow if I get time. I like to show off how lovely she is. :) :)

Your dog looks like a rough coated type of terrier. What breed is he/she?

ps,

a Cairn Terrier?

I got her from the RSPCA.
She was described as a "Cross Terrier".
She died in September, almost 16.
I've got loads of photos of her, and of course, loads of memories.

First one just outside Newsham Park. The other couple are of my youngest lad Alex and his mate Jordan from 2003. The little buggers are almost 6 foot tall now! They were conkering at the Whipsnade Tree Cathedral. It's layout is based on Liverpool's Anglican cathedral, btw. Norra Lorra people know that:)

I love this thread! Here are a few photos taken at Newsham Park about 7am, I'd been up all night and went for a walk. Only took them with my phone so they're not very good. I love the world early in the morning.

Thanks, Violet. This photograph is of interest to me since it clearly shows the same place that was the Seaman's Orphanage, in this postcard posted by PhilipG on the Liverpool postcards thread and of which I posted a winter view in a postcard I just purchased on ebay. Here's Philip's postcard view which corresponds quite well with your view a hundred years later!

I used to go for bike rides in Newsham Park before work when I lived down that way. Not a bad place to be honest, and definitely some good photo opportunities.

I found these that I took around this time last year...

1st is an Autmuns evening at Cromer, I like the way the bird's flying over the sun. Second is Moscow Drive, I took this a few years ago, the block of flats in the shadow has since been dimolished.

It's a bit late, but some Liverpool related info regarding Whipsnade Tree Cathedral. I'd been visiting there for almost 20 years, before I read this sign in 2004. How dim is that?!:disgust:
