Needless to say, it ended up somewhere high, but I've never in all my life known icey winds like it! At first when I went out on my bike, fingertips were In pain from the cold and my asthma was going off because I couldn't breath through my nose which happens sometimes. Eventually the longer I'm out the more immune to the cold I am. That is a two degree difference, in both tempeture and windchill, between Baker Lake and Winnipeg. I'd love to get blizzard shots but the snow was too light really. Its funny just how different everything looks in snow. Suprisingly the kids where up by 7 oclock not like this when going to school :shock: Tomorrow we are getting ice in the morning but they think it will be clear soon after. All the pictures are great. White River claims to be the coldest spot in Ontario according to Wikpedia.. The Canadian record holder is Snag, Yukon at -81F.
