Been around for a while. I wonder what the story is, as to why it was filmed? I heard a rumour that it was only done for the BBC staffs' Christmas party

That's a classic and made me realise that growing up in the 70's 80's, kids programmes were just as naughty as tv is today. And we are in the perfect media environment for these things to explode in popularity.

I heard that one as well, some sort of outakes contest was done each year and this one has somehow survived.
