Nearly forgot to mention ...

last week sitting behind 2 women on the bus and one gave up her seat to a pensioner. They went on to chat to the pensioner about the Continental Market they'd just been to, and what nice things they'd bought.
One of the women rooted into her shopping bag and brought out some bread rolls or something similar, and gave them to the old lady, '' e'yar take these 'ome with yer, and try them with some butter and jam '' :)

You'd never find this gesture of kindness in a lot of other places would you.

I think it's great. :)

I have been sending postcards from exotic locals to a young person in Liverpool, that person is now mature and no longer collects these cards. If anyone knows of a youngster who would like to receive postcards from abroad I would be willing to transfer the favour. No contact or correspondence is required by the recipient just a name and address will do. Maybe some infirm, physical or mentally challenged child would appreciate and look forward to receiving these cards. If you know of any kid who fits the bill just PM me with their name and address and I will start sending the cards to them.
