I think its not a good list, SPLHCB won by only 200 votes, regardless of what people think of Jacko as a person Thriller is a good album but if you look at the list it is very safe, nothing too radical, no rap, no reaggae at all.
Scissor Sisters at 33, come on, ahead of Born in the USA, X&Y, Pleasuredome only got to No100.

I've never liked Jacksons stuff, not my cup of tea, neither is Madaonnas guff.. ;)

I'm absolutely shocked that they made it, more than once into the top 100 albums list..

There's so much missing that should be there. Where, for example, is 'London Calling - The Clash'? It's not anywhere in the top 100! :disgust:

Oh well, but really I think looking at a list there are certainly some that are not there and should, but some like the SS at 34, you have to question will it still be seen in the same way in a couple of years, I think not, will the album stand the test of time?
DM is a good album, but some are classics like SPLHCB.
Lists are very subjective, depending on personal taste, age, but I felt it was an ok list.
Fleetwood Mac /Dire Straits for example are not my favourite bands nor Jacko, but Rumours, B in A and Thriller are good albums that have stood the test of time.
This is my personal thoughs, you will possibly think different, that is the beauty of music.

no i agree with you, i just believe that Definitely Maybe is a classic album. Pepper deserves its place as no1 as it is the best album ever
