Going back to 1969, Seacombe, Kingsway being built at the end of your road, an area with bomb holes from WWII still not filled in, gaps in the street where the Luftwaffes bombs hit, and a scrapyard the view from yer back bedroom winder... not to mention the outside bog the wash-house and the tin bath..


But 1969, the first time I EVER SAW A FROG... and me ald fella left it in the tin bath in the backyard one night, and I as a four year old was amazed....... I went to pick it up,it jumped...............And I freaked out big time ........ Frogs I hate them even today :D

aahh, I like frogs ! :D they're cute.

My dad has a toad living at the bottom of the garden and it's been known to hop into the house. It was sitting on the window ledge indoors once .. and another time it was near the fireplace. CUTE !
they are not harming anyone !

My dad is like Dr Dolittle - ha,ha. He feeds the Hedgehogs and has lots of different birds come down into his garden, wood pigeons, doves, blackbirds, ducks from the canal, robins, etc.
It's nice to appreciate nature.
