Was in Skye on Monday, and went purposely to this spot (the exact same place which took a bit of time to locate!) of the Cuillins mountain range, which is near Sguilard, on the Isle of Skye.
The scene was from a Cover photo used by OMD for their second Album 'Organisation' in 1980. Its a great scene, in a remote but beautiful part of the world.

You been at me Flickr then Smurf? :)
This S8000d is actually very good most of the time on Auto, but does need a little help on a dull day. You can get lenses to help, but having that strange lens size doesn't help things much!
I do often take a couple of pics switching between Chrome and color settings, as it often adds to greens etc, but chrome can spoil blues.
Biggest tip is take a good few SDHC cards with you, and take loads, and using spot measuring, focus on differin ares of light and dark, you can be sure at least one of yur pics will always be at a good exposure, and if not, a knowledge of Photoshop can help afterwards!
And USE that lovely zoom!
