8 years ago,I booked a very large farmhouse in Bude and we took the whole family there,5 adults,2 grandchildren and the family pet Jake the dog.
I was the holiday of a lifetime, we had 6 bedrooms ,2 kitchens ,5 bathrooms , 2 dining rooms and 2 large living rooms. The kids and granddchildren adored it .My son brought his van down and we packed our bicycles in it and so had freedom of movement. We ranged far and far wide along the Devon and Cornish coasts and then we happened upon Boscastle. The pictures do not give you the whole perspective, it is movingly beautiful,as though a little piece of heaven landed on Cornwall. Has anyone been there since the flood ? I would like to see if they have been able to recreate that little Jewel.
