Pemberton Rd in Old Swan, just after they were built in about 1906, thats a great pic George, I do have that one and am looking to do a "Then and Now" on it, Mart :PDT11

Seen old ones of my area around somewhere on the Wavertree society site. The streets here were cleaner back then than now lol!

Yeh,possibly,or Bevington st,which runs parallel! I think these houses still remain,but with new housing nearby!

If you're in Liverpool then the Liverpool Record Office in William Brown Street provides free online access to the censuses on the Ancestry site. You may need to book time on the computer. You can call their enquiries line on 0151 233 5811.

yes they are, they have the dates built into the apex on each end house, started in 1905/6 and finished the street 1908. :034:
