I lived in Liverpool for my first 42 years, then I decided to emmigrate to the U.S.A. I love to visit Liverpool but am dissapointed in what I see, a moron could have done better design work than some of the new buildings.
What a waste the beautifull Liverpool parks are. Sefton and Newsham sadly neglected. These are jewels and should be looked after accordingly.
My first visit back was when the Garden fesival was on, my sister told me it was due to finish and my comment at the time was that they should send to Disneyworld to borrow some managers, it was a nice as any of the parks in Florida where I lived and could have been an ongoing attraction. All wasted!, very sad indeed.
O.K. I'll get off my soapbox now and say I still love the city and its' heritage.
