Me too. I was determined to avoid feeling like two weeks was too long but at the 10 day mark, I did feel like that. Then I got my second wind into the second week and began enjoying it again!

When we came home it was absolute bliss curling up in our very own bed, like sleeping on a cloud!

We didn't venture out much, we stayed around the pool and went the beach only once.

We walked along the front every night and ventured to the Marina twice for my birthday!

You may have noticed, a lot of the coach trips pick up outside the Minerver, you are staying in the ideal place if you want to book trips out and meet the coaches right on your doorstep. Always too hot to do much sight seeing in July or August. May/June or Sept/Oct is best for travelling about.

Some great beach bars and fish restaurants along the Paseo isn't there. I'll be going soon :PDT_Aliboronz_24:

We stay at Minerva for 4 weeks June/July every year and love it, I have already booked our flights and apartment for next year.

Hope you went to Paloma Park lots of animals roaming around, and the lake has plenty of turtles, swans and ducks, also nice children?s play area.

Minerva is ideally situated half way up the hill, so not too far to the beach but great for the train station in the town, the trains run every half hour from Malaga to Fuengirola.

We recommend Mighty Quinn?s a bar on the opposite side of the road in the corner it is run by a fantastic Liverpool family who are very friendly.

I could go on and on about places to visit but realise that I am starting to sound like a travel agent!

cheers for the comments peeps,

we often went to the park, what a beautiful place that is, the kids loved it.

the seafront restraunts/ bars and the walk along was great most nights.

last year we didn't even realise that there were these places until after a few days, you could miss them very easily!

We did last year but avoided it this year, we enjoyed it but it was rediculously hot, 35oC at tea time isn't very nice, plus its on a hill, what's all that about? we needed to take a small train to the top then basically move down hill till we got to the exit!

Kev, you will have to try the cooler months :) I know you have to work around school times like we do, but we used to try and fit it in around Whit holiday time. May/June the temperature is just nice - in the 70's and comfortable for getting about.

Yes, Tivoli is on a hill and strenuous to walk around in the heat !! It's not so bad when it is cooler after dark. It's open until very late during summer season. They have some good entertainment on there. We saw some great Flamenco shows on the outdoor stage which you can watch from the restaurant area.
The cable cars are good too - fantastic views of the costa.
