I've just embarked upon giving my Liverpool Links (http://web.onetel.net.uk/~howardpaterson/index.htm) pages a long overdue update to remove/repair broken links and add descriptions and I'm already pissed off.

Why don't web authors use the <meta name="description" content=" "> tag? - Don't they want to be linked to or increase their traffic?

Why must they design sites that a) resize your window, or b) you can't back out of, or c) launch bloody pop-ups?

And if their sites contain viruses doesn't anybody report it to them? - I'm sure they must - so why don't they do something about it?

Rant over!!!

ps It could be worse - I've just been reading Nukes (http://www.nukes.ltd.uk/) web site. Strike any accord with your ScouseProud experience, Kev? :(

Very familiar Howie - we are all vunerable :(. I find that odd when authors dont use the meta tags too. Seems that they are lacking in experience of them or something.

Well the update of the Liverpool Links (http://web.onetel.net.uk/~howardpaterson/index.htm) pages is done (for the time being). Sorry it's taken so long (4 weeks) but I couldn't help but read every site as I did it. There are some great sites listed (and some not so great). Hope you find it easier to navigate with the descriptions added and broken links removed. Happy surfin' everyone.

Ps If you have any more sites you wish to see included please let me know. Howie.

I agree, I will do that now.... any thoughts on what you would like in the mail.... I think you may receive it too.... A lot of people join with hotmail addresses and these expire after what.... 30 days or something.... I will give it a go anyway :unibrow: Keep checking your stats ;)

Why don't you have 'Yo! Liverpool' join the WebRing, Kev? You can find details of 'A Liverpool Room' and other Liverpool WebRings at the bottom of the Liverpool Links - Default (http://web.onetel.net.uk/~howardpaterson/default.htm) page.
