Hi,
Can anyone here give me the name of some music videos that were filmed in Liverpool. Anything at all will be helpful, even if it's just something that's been filmed in a club in Liverpool and isn't particularly recognisable.

The video for the 2001 Cast single 'Desert Drought' was filmed in Liverpool by Julian Gibbs who directed 'Kill All Hippies' by Primal Scream.

Also found a video on my PC of The Coral titled 'On The Road Movie' directed by Lawrence Easeman which was released on a 2002 promo CD - 'Machines Have No Emotions' with them travelling in a transit van from the city centre and up Kensington as they set off on tour.

CHART-topping Liverpool group Ultrabeat want city dance music fans to appear in their next video.

They are filming the video in Liverpool on Thursday and need extras aged between 18 and 26 to take part.

Penny Lane - Beatles
Ken Lansdowne confirms Pete Weatherby's sighting of a Liverpool Corporation bus with 'Penny Lane' as the destination.
Dave Karr adds "I drove one of the buses in the film. There were four vehicles used in total and all came from the old Prince Alfred Road Depot (called PAR South Div). All the vehicles used were in service at the time for different routes and asked to change their number and route plate on the front to read Penny Lane 46 or 99. We drove out of Heath Rd into what is known as Penny Lane but in reality is Smithdown Place, and the filming took approx 2 hours in total. The vehicles used were AEC Regent Vs and NOT the London Routemasters used in the models which sell as the Beatles Penny Lane Bus

Dreaming of you by the coral was filmed in the zanzibar? I think.It was definitely in Liverpool though.You can view it on the Deltasonic website if you wish.:)

The first video version of Relax was done at the State, this was done by The Tube as FGTH did n't have video.

Free As A bird by The Beatles was filmed here also.

Free as a bird used Penny Lane shops, the ones near to the University end just before the hill.

The Farm's Altogether Now was filmed in a working mans club somewhere in Bootle or Walton and featured several members of the Bands families. The video for their other big single Groovy Train was filmed at Southport fair.

Ricky Tomlinsons 'Are you lookin' at me' was filmed in Dingle (Beaufort St, Yates St, Miller fields area...I'm not sure what the pub interior is...The Great Eastern? or Mersey View? ). Some now-demolished flats next to Beaufort Street school make an appearance.

The La's "There she goes"...looks like a bit is filmed from the top of the Anglican Cathedral and St James' Gardens.

I recognise a shot (taken from Cockburn St) looking down one of the 'bread streets' towards Grafton St . Also at exactly :34 seconds of the video is a shot looking down South Hill Rd towards Cockburn St (this shows 2 houses that have since been demolished)
