Great pic Joe. It'll still look nice from that view I think, even with the granite blocks which will have reflective qualities.

this was taken today (may9. 09)..around 12ish
was just going to take a pic of the lion, when i noticed what was in the background, so one pic of the lions head and this.
had a good day walking around with my new compact camera, amazing how you notice all the people with cameras hanging about when you have one yourself. lol
even spent some time walking about the walker art gallery, haven't been inside there since a school trip.

Here is the original untouched as taken. At my age the pic needs some help to sharpen the image (I`ve got the hippy, hippy shake) Then you always get a slight haze on a sunny day so I darken the pic to make it more contrasty,

Good pics Taffy.
You should of lashed that Terrapin though. They will eat very young chicks, they eat at the feet and they eat all the fish too.
Obviously it got to big (and smelly) to keep as a pet and someone has dumped it in there.:PDT_Xtremez_42:

There are Terrapins living amongest our Penquins here at the Hilton Hotel.. and they are NOT as bad as you make out... Live and let live.. We have many fish in the pond too.. and you don't see them eatting them...
Most turtles will not eat baby chicks??? Unless there is NOTHING else. (like humans do).... They usually eat the plantin on the sides of the pond...
Given the big pond.. I think that the turtle will be fine.. and to leave NATURE alone... jeeze....
Nice Picture Lenka... :snf (41):
