I've done the egg run a few times myself, it's always a good laugh with plenty of support from members of the public lining the streets on the way.
Why do they call it a run when there going around on bikes?

You wouldn't understand..
Why wouldn't i? They go around on bikes delivering eggs for charity to raise funds for sick children.
They call milk deliveries runs too without the running.
Spartan warriors would of ran with hundreds of easter eggs on their backs for days until all the eggs were delivered.

Why ask a question if you already know the answer, or were you being ironic?
Well you said i wouldn't understand though.
