Well said David :handclap:

Even the strongest Reds fan can,t deny that Liverpool get the breaks.

Of course we are just bitter Blues, hmmmn Sorry but its there on TV pictures clear as day.

by the way the first of the 3 Derbies Raffa said before that game that Liverpool get no protection, not trying to get favour from the ref?

C,mon you BLUES :PDT11

A little bit o' niggle ha ha, don't fall into the trap Davey, let's hope our players do the talking. We saw with Richard head Riley how Lampard was sent off incorrectly on sunday which undoubtedly influenced the result because as an attacking force Chelsea were spent afterwards even though Scholario introduced attack minded players such as Drogba and Deco whereas Rafa would have taken off Torres and Gerrard.

This sounds like Benitez's rant of a few weeks ago. Is Davy learning from the "master"?

Actually it's probably true that the referees whether consciously or unconsciously favor the best sides and the more famous players. Should not be that way. The sport should be equitable but as we all know, it is far from that.

By the way, although I am Red, I have been coming to admire David Moyes more and more. He does a lot with limited resources, particularly with the recent dearth of recognized strikers. Moyes has built a strong and difficult-to-beat side, and is more level-headed and consistent that the supposed maestro across the park. Good work, David. And good luck to the Blues this afternoon. :handclap:

Well, I hope it will be a great match and not a mean spirited one. Actually, why not Everton for the Cup and Liverpool for the League??? What could be better for the city of Liverpool than that? :PDT_Aliboronz_24:

What, like shades of 66 and all that? Are we still in the world cup?

Trebilcock for Prime Minister. . . Roger Hunt for King. . . :snf (41):

Yes it sounds exactly like it.

I wonder will the Evertonians who waffled on about Rafa 'losing it' have the same kind of things to say about the wee bug eyed one?

Probably not.

I'm not sure which game you were watching Ged but Lampard was totally inneffective before his red card.

Chelsea were totally outclassed, before and after the sending off.

25 shots to their 9.

12 corners to their 1.

Not even the bitterest Blue could complain that we didn't deserve that one.

They were spent before the sending off as well, pretty much. Liverpool showed much more determination and heart than Chelsea throughout the match.

We've bean through all this before about Liverpool's superior possession, corner counts and shots at goal - you had the most against all those teams you've just drawn against and it means nothing unless you put the ball in the onion bag more times than your opponents per game. What was the score before the sending off again - nil nil I believe and that's where it was heading.
