It might just be me but I am seeing lots of apostrophes or single quotes not displaying correctly on the forum.

e.g. here (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12039)
Instead of seeing

Double bill for Phil's city move

I am seeing

Double bill for Phil?s city move.

I am seeing this in Firefox 3.0.5 and Internet Explorer 7

I think the browser is replacing the apostrophe with a question mark because it doesn't recognise the character. Looking at the page it says it is using charset=ISO-8859-1 I wonder if the apostrophe you are copying from the article isn't a valid 8859 character. Perhaps you need to change to UTF8?

Ok Mike, time to come clean :)

I don't actually post those threads, they are syndicated from the Echo site and therefore the error is caused through that syndication process.

Its not down to Yo! Liverpool, it happens when a news thread is syndicated from the Echo/ Daily post automatically.

I'll have a look if theres anything I can do.

Cheers

Couldn't these be posted under their own distinct username Kev?.

I don't know you personally but recently I've been thinking you a bit of an Echo-bot. Here's the explanation - that it's not you - and you're doing yourself a disservice.
