View Full Version : Minis Max 04-10-2006, 02:29 AM Is it comfortable and tight? Have tall people ever sat in one? Kev 04-10-2006, 07:32 AM Max sitting in a mini, especially in my racing seats is fine for me, I love its driving position and feel on the road but uncomfortable for everyone else. The suspension is almost non existent so the car handles like a go-cart ;) http://82.110.105.20/cobraseats.com/images/monaco.jpg Mine are black. With the 1293cc race engine its a powerful beast and rips everything else away from the lights except your GTI's EVO's etc... I took a work colleague home in it last week, she is 6ft at least and fitted in perfectly, because the racing seats sit much further back. The drawback from this is that rear leg room has gone, making the car in effect, a 2 seater:p I have known some very large people in the 'miniworld' who are over 6 ft and love their minis as equally as 5ft 7" me. Max 04-10-2006, 10:19 AM Thats sounds like some pimped up Mini. Well yours sounds roomy enough then turning it into a two seater instead of 4.:p So their roomy even as a 4 seater? Kev 04-10-2006, 10:36 AM Thats sounds like some pimped up Mini. Well yours sounds roomy enough then turning it into a two seater instead of 4.:p So their roomy even as a 4 seater? Yes with the standard seats in then, I've also had metro mg seats in as they are great and leave passenger space in the back. Max 04-10-2006, 01:02 PM Will have to sit in one sometime then.:p sweetpatooti 04-10-2006, 02:31 PM Can you get a pram and six bags of shopping and three kids in?? Kev 04-10-2006, 02:39 PM Can you get a pram and six bags of shopping and three kids in?? nope :) FKoE 04-10-2006, 02:40 PM Can you get a pram and six bags of shopping and three kids in?? heheh!!! ;) Max 04-10-2006, 03:10 PM Some cars are just made especially to feel manly in. Max 04-25-2006, 01:50 AM So the 6ft woman you gave a lift seemed to fit well. What if it's a 6ft 3 or 4 person who weighs over 16 stone fitting into it though?:Colorz_Grey_PDT_16: Kev 04-25-2006, 08:21 AM nice and snug Max 04-25-2006, 10:21 AM :RAP_1: Thats good then. Bunnyman 06-24-2006, 10:24 PM They're mine. Been collecting them to stave off insanity until I can afford a real one. "And then I go and spoil it all by buying something stupid like a Punto" They are brill - I sold a load on ebay recently (i know, I should have kept 'em) - corgi collectables they were, it was only a matter of time until my 2 kids go hold of them and wrecked em so they neededd to go to a better home. They all went for good prices especially the Beatles Psychadelic mini boxed, which I bought for 9 quid. It went to USA for 50 quid! I've still got a few more still in boxes. This is a video taken by me in my mini today (28th July 2006). The drive begins towards the Garston Coastal Reserve (Banks Road) then turns left into the old Liverpool Airport, now the site of some major building work. The brand new roads run parallel alongside the River Mersey shore line then up again towards the hustle and bustle of Speke Road. In the back ground you will hear Pink Floyd 'Animals' album, my fave floyd album. The weather was extremely hot and you will notice the grass fire in the distance! Shame it spoils a lovely view! Click here to view the video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=c9YUodM5dII), please watch it 'till the end. Running time: seven minutes long. A.D.Williams 07-28-2006, 10:46 PM Nice sounding engine the mini has Kev! Did you put your camera on a tripod? A splendid video. :celb (23): Kev 07-28-2006, 10:51 PM Yes Dave, the tripod was fixed to the rear roll cage. It's fixed now, so when ever I feel like recording, I can just link the camera up and click! Expect a few more soon. spenny389 07-29-2006, 11:42 AM Great little vid Kev and a great short cut from Speke to Garston especialy with the roadworks on Speke road, I use it all the time now.
