Sunday in the Park with Sue

This is Sutton Park in Birmingham,the scene of our post Christmas walk. The morning was cold and crisp,more like an early November day than a years end day. There were few people around and excepting for the raucous cawing of a crow all was silence. Roll on the real winter,when the ground is covered in pristine coating of snow.

We had a similar walk around Speke Hall on Christmas Eve with the kids. Frosty, cold and empty around the grounds. Perfect. We do it every year.
