Utter Madness.
The decision not to overturn the red card shown to Tim Cahill in the Derby is beyond belief. Everyone who saw it can see it was not a harsh tackle, seems Cahill was sent off for walking away from the ref?
Ok lets look at John Terry. It can clearly be seen that he pulls at the players shirt, causing him to fall to the ground. a red card is shown, Terry argues with the ref, Chelsea players argue with the ref. an appeal is lodged, He wins, and his 3 match ban is overturned.
So what message does this send out? Cheat?, argue with refs? get your mates to argue? show total disrespect? play for a rich team with a lot of pull, and you will be ok?
Cahill walked away from a ref, yes a form of disrespect, but nothing along the lines of Terry. Yet cahill does not have his ban overturned. Could it be he plays for a less rich side with less pull. Hmmmmnnn looks like it to me.
I find this disgusting, it happens far too many times. Chelsea are getting far to many things go in their favour. it is wrecking the game.
