I've had a quick look and I don't think there's a thread on this.
I went to have a look round WML for the first time in ages today and after seeing signs all over the museum for the EU Chess Championship I decided to go and have a look, mostly for the sake of seeing where everyone came from. It was bizarre, the room was full of people but it was completely silent! There were endless matches going on between the most bored-looking people in the world! I'm not sure if WML got a little mixed up and put EU instead of Europe on their signs because there were a few people from Switzerland and Ukraine. I had to laugh, I was looking at the countries the participants came from and one of them said Slough! Is the UK that embarrassed of the town that we pretend it's a different country?!
