Any lans ?

Hi All .,

First of all id like to say HELLO as im new to this site and to liverpool, i recently moved to live with my wife to be wich meant moving 300 miles north and leaving my family and friends behind , not only that but i also left behing my quarterly P.C LAN gaming events , i used to attend a lan event called zombie lan wich in most cases was 24-36 hours long over a weekend , my question is , is there any of these events around liverpool/chester area if so are they large events or small social events , what sort of cost are they . Basically as much info as you can give me and if they have any online servers or anything like a forum page / website where i can meet or chat to people,. If anyone can point me in the right direction or supply me with some info i would very much appreciate it

I have attended a coupleof mini LANs, privately organised though. I don't think there are any regular public LANs inLiverpool.

We've had a few round my house (when Kev used to play BF'42 in our clan www.bandofscousers) until we got the leccy bill hehe.

Hi Chris,

A LAN means a 'Local Area Network'. A LAN 'Party' involves friends or groups of people playing multiplayer games whilst being networked together.

They can take place over a couple of days.

well if anyone hears of any lans happening or anything i would appreciate it if you gave me a shout so i can join up/ try to join up, i miss the socialisation and friends you make at those kinds of events
