Everton chief executive resigns. Star striker sold. No new players bought as yet. Chairman trying to sell up. Only 12 thousand turn up for friendly with PSV. Move to new stadium all but blocked.

"Carlsberg don't do starts to the season but if they did".............................

Good riddance. No, the Yak's still there. Pinaar bought (same as prem winners Man Utd then who only bought existing striker Tevez. Chairman seeks Billionaire - good. It's the prem that counts - 12,000 turn up in the 1980s at Anfield for lfc European cup game. Move to new stadium out of the city should be blocked so hooray.

Nice try though.

Some of those kids looked pretty good. If it was 2-2 as it could have been, then people would have said they did pretty well.

The board should bog off though, what are they doing? Kenwright with his promises all summer, then saying he cant take the club to the next level.

WE KNOW< SO SELL IT KEN< THIS IS NOT ONE OF YOUR PLAYS

Baxter, Gosling, Rodwell and the one with the unpronouncable name that gets you 140 in scrabble are great for the future and it seems they've unexpectedly been thrown in at the deep end. A draw was deserved though Blackburn played well, it was an offside winner and just our luck for the ball to come back off the post at the only angle that could have made it go to their player

Ah well. With Vaughan and Anichebe - we have gone from the oldest squad a few years ago to probably the youngest (and smallest both in height and numbers)

We'll be doing well to get 10th this season.
