On the down side, I was writing too much, but I kept coming across wonderful websites like YoLiverpool which became a virtual learning experience.....

A successful forum is one that the members care about - it feels like a valuable and valued community. Yoliverpool.com is a example of how a successful online community operates and co-operates.

yes, it's a good forum. Kev is friendly and not a despot. And it's an independent forum. There isn't any company -> no financial interests.

I agree this is a great forum, it is brilliant when you live elsewhere as you feel you can still keep in touch with great people with a great sense of humour, I love it and must admit it is the first thing I log onto as soon as I get chance in work. Good job I am self employed or probably would have got the sack by now lol:002: I am sure I have still not been around half of the threads, there is always loads to look at.:034: Especially now as we have no english programmes being allowed to be transmitted over here, apparently the company have all been arrested:PDT_Xtremez_42: so no soaps, but worst of all no X factor:shock: thank god for Yo Liverpool:):):)

I think it is just our region although there are still some people that have english telly albeit limited programmes, but apparently the law has changed over here and you cannot rebroadcast programmes especially sky! the server has taken everyones money and now nobody knows when or if the telly will be back on, apparently some people are suicidal and threatening to go back to England:shock: we dont watch much telly, to be honest I dont think there is much on it anyway, we do watch the spanish channels as our kids are fluent so they do not care what language the cartoons are in:) the only thing I really miss is Xfactor when it is on:handclap:

You sound like my hubby, but then he will be secretly watching it out of the corner of his eye, whilst complaining how rubbish it is then continually asking "who is she? who is he? why are they doing that??? etc
