Hello Folks,
I live on Mather Avenue and on certain nights if I'm stood outside, I can here a distant fan noise. Sounds like a some sort of huge extractor fan. Thought it might of been the wind carrying noises from planes warming up from Speke airport, until I took the dog for a walk along the coast off Blackburne Street near Speke/Garston? I could here the same exact noise towards Garston docks. Thought I'd try and track it down but gave up in the end as my diesel engine was drowning out the sound and I kept coming up to the many blocked of roads in down town Garston. Plus I had a screaming baby in the car. Anyone know what it might be?
Also another noise I here regularly in the day time, 08:45 to be precise, is a factory siren. As I can't think of any factories near by, I was wandering where it is. It must be deafening if you live near by. I would have thought it to be considered as noise pollution in these overly P.C. times!
