For stories with a difference, anything you would like to add?
I shall start:PDT11
In 1979 we signed Asa Hartford from Forrest i think?
I was 14 so was my mate Marty. we had got off the 26/27 bus and bought chips, we then heading down sleepers hill towards the ground. A car pulled up and Asa Hartfords head appeared. " can you guys direct me to Goodison park " he says, " i have just drove into Anfield and they laughed at me " :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Anyway we end up showing him where the ground is and he gives us a lift, chips and all. When we get to the ground he drives straight into the players car park with us, tells us to wait while he gets us two tickets. then takes us through and lets us walk along the pitch. it was bloomin amazing to a 14 year old, i would love it now lol.
so we told all our mates and they said liars, next day its on the back page of the sunday papers:) liars disappeared from our mates mouths. jammy bugger replaced it :PDT11
Another time i was working at Goodison and was in a hurry to get to the other end of the ground. I rushed out of the side door from beneath the park end stand and bumped straight into Tim Cahill, who i sent flying. Everyone gasped, but Tim just jumped back up and shook my hand saying dont worry about it. Later that day Tim scored the first goal in the 3-0 win over Liverpool:handclap: So im glad i never injured him :eek: after that he used to let onto me whenever i saw him. phew
