Now that this building has listed status what do you reckon its future is now?

Maybe returning to community use?

I know it was used by several groups in the last year but not sure if any of them are planning on returning to the building now it is listed.

Could its listed status now affect its use?

One of Max's faves. I hope it can be used, looks good.

It's Listed status shouldn't affect it's use, and it should be used by the Community.
However, it was the trustees themselves who actually applied for planning permission to demolish it, which can't happen now.
It's going to need new people.

This pleases Max that It was giving listed status, It Is the gem of Garmoyle Road. Plus I've grown up by the Gregson since I was born so It wouldn't seem right for It to go.

It was considered being demolished for Student flats, which the city centre has enough of for them already. Plus they rent the houses out anyway here so hardly anyone would rent them, there's student flats at the end of Garmoyle already too on Gainsborough road.

Plus Students are puny and only the female ones are needed here.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

The Gregson Memorial Institute... Yesterday

I'm surprised nobody's made reference to the sloping floor yet.
