Hi all and thank you, i gotta say i'm biased, (I think) he is the supermodel of all cats but i'd love him just as much if he were a regular moggy!
Within the next month I will be launching a site called http://www.animalsrus.org.uk
The main point of the site will be an animal re-homing drive a cause which is very close to my heart, but its also going a be site that is a free site for pet lovers.
I was a few years ago an RSPCA volunteer and it was when we went looking for a new addition to our family recently, I went back to being a volunteer after a period of ill health. Unfortunately, whilst out on a walk with a beautiful doggy I put my foot down a rabbit hole and broke it! So I haven't been there for a few weeks :(
Turkish Angora's are soooo beautiful!
Gizmo has brought so much love and laughter into our lives, its so weird, his just being here has made everyone happy. We sit and talk like a family now, our favourite subject being Gizmo and what he's been up to today. He rules the roost and we wouldn't have it any other way!
Even before the site is up, let me urge anyone who is thinking of owning a pet, there are a lot of animals at YOUR local shelter, who are there through no fault of their own, all they ask for is a bowl of food a bowl of water and a bit of love, what they will give you back in return is PRICELESS.

A funny little story about Gizmo,
There are three of us in the house.
1 of us wanted a Ragdoll because his brother had 2.
1 of us wanted a kitten.
I said, "If its not a rescue cat we ain't having one!
So we went to the shelter I used to volunteer at and my partner picked out a beautiful lady called Star. The following week we went back to pick her up and my friend was like "she's not the right cat for you" which totally gutted my partner who had fallen for her and who said on the spot, "No Star, and we're not having a cat then!" My friend pulled me to a side and explained a little about Star, and I had to explain to my partner how important it is to match the 'right' pet with the 'right' owner or they just end up back at the shelter. So my friend took us out back and introduced us to Gizzy a six month old Ragdoll kitten.
So my partner got the Ragdoll he wanted.
His mum got the kitten she wanted.
and I got the rescue cat I wanted.

This is our 'Patch' so called by the kids 14 years ago as she was born with a black patch on her head which she's grown out. We still have her mother, Shirley, who is 15 and a totally unrelated tiger striped one called tigger.

Well when you're that beautiful you have every right to be a poser!
She is gorgeous and she knows it!
she's even pulling tongues like as if she's saying 'na na na na na i'm beautiful!'
she brews? awww sweet!
Gizmo sort of 'chuchinmows', a weird sound, till we open the tuna, then he screams! and its like OWOWOWOWOW till he gets some, oh and tries to trip the person holding the can opener up! if its not under his nose quick enough and that has to be lightening speed!
Thank you for posting her pic, she is adorable!

Ged, lovely pics of a gorgeous cat :handclap:
Thanks Shelli and Lindy.
Comfort isn't the word. They certainly know how to live it up and know where the heat it. They lie on the radiators in winter, I put my hand on it and nearly burn, don't know how they do it?
They're all house trained from a few weeks old so use the litter tray, rarely go beyond the garden when out - not street wise at all and run back in. As clean as anything -- no washing required and they don't even want walks in the park. I think we got a good deal :)
I want to come back as a fat cat.
Possibly the CEO of a lecky company.
